This week we looked at postmodernism, which was described as the punk wave with bold, strong, punchy, and the bending of rules. we can see this clearly in Wolfgang Weingart work as he is always bending the rules to create something new.

He was born in 1941 in Southern German, he started his studies at Merz Academy, afterward starting a 3-year apprenticeship at Ruwe Printing. Where he meet Karl-August Hanke who mentored him and convinced him to continue studying in Switzerland at Basel school of Design. After his years of study, he went on to become a teacher and has given talks all over the world. He has had a widespread impact all over the world.

The post-modern scene was seen all over the world, also in Britain. Barney Bubbles was born Colin Fulcher in 1942, he studied in Twickenham in south London. Afterward, he began working on his first poster for an early concert of the Rolling Stones, he continued to work all over the world and was well known for his designs for record sleeves.
