In this class, we look at the impressions that different fonts give us, like being more professional or not. We then learned about Johannes Gutenberg a German inventor and how he impacted printing by making a printer press, using the moveable character techniques created in Asia. He also impacted Christianity by making the bible accessible increasing the number of people who could read and understand.

We also learned about the different areas in a font with baselines, cap height, and ascender and descender lines. We looked at Serifs and San Serifs. We also look at different things that need to be looked at when creating a type font, like spacing, readability, length, and height…
