Problem Statement

Multi-generational homes are becoming an increasingly popular choice for families to make but do come with issues like independence, privacy, communication, and responsibility across all age groups.

How might we create a smart home system that balances the issues of independence and responsibilities in a multi-generational home for the most responsible age group?

Vision Statement

To ensure the middle-aged group in a multi-generational home is able to feel the reduced amount of pressure and responsibilities with a smart home “Kin” that ensures the other house members are safe, independent, and happy.

The goal is to reduce the pressure and responsibilities on the middle-aged group in a multi-generational home through a smart home system that ensures the safety, independence, and happiness of all household members. It allows for effortless caregiving, balanced responsibilities, and easy communication while still allowing everyone to have their own independence.

The goal is to reduce the pressure and responsibilities on the middle-aged group in a multi-generational home through a smart home system that ensures the safety, independence, and happiness of all household members. The smart home's main features are health monitoring, safety alerts, privacy controls, wellness reports, and communication between everyone.
